April 2012

I guess I am getting lax on my blogs.  That’s because I would rather be outside than on the computer.  We have had very busy weeks since the last blog.  This past week we have been salvaging a house in Lincoln, and the week before Manuel was in Omaha working.   We have had a lot of clients stopping by for various projects, from needing lights, doors, or bricks, to building a greenhouse with some of our leaded windows.   We also had orders go to Durango, Colorado, and Brooklyn, New York!!  Thank you to our on-line shoppers!

We just got in a lot of wide oak base board and doors, all unpainted;  a couple of tubs, serpentine sinks, and ceiling trim.  We still need to pull all the nails, but at least it will live on in another house.  I will post pictures later.

We always appreciate our customers and if we can help you find something, please don’t hesitate to call or contact us

Cobblestone make a very beautiful and unusual walkway or driveway. We have a large selection of different sizes and colors.

Welcome to Scherer’s Architectuaral Antiques

Manuel worked for 30 plus years with Max and Jeri Scherer and over those years developed their same love, passion, and knowledge for preserving architectural antiques, and we continue that same tradition.
